What is the catchment area for Lamberhurst Surgery?

You can register as a patient at Lamberhurst Surgery if you live in Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Ashford, Sevenoaks, or Maidstone. We accept all patients who live within the Kent and Medway ICB.

We can only offer home visits to your address if you live within our catchment area. If you are primarily housebound or require visits to your home, our service will not be suitable.

How do I register with a GP for the first time?

If you haven’t registered with a GP in Lamberhurst before, we recommend using the NHS online registration form. It’s important to complete the form accurately to ensure your registration gets accepted.

Once you’ve registered, if you qualify for an NHS Health Check you will be invited to attend one. Filling out the registration form itself should only take a few minutes.

After that your registration is processed by the GP Surgery (usually within 2-3 working days). 

Finally your registration has to be confirmed by NHS England.

The NHS states it can take 10 to 14 days to process your information and transfer your medical record from your previous NHS GP surgery (if you have one) to Lamberhurst GP. However, the process is often faster than this and can take as little as 2 to 3 days to be completed.
